Rockwool unveils energy-efficient insulation
Builders and handymen will be able to view Rockwool's latest green insulation products at the Grand Designs event at London's Excel from April 25th.
Rockwool plans to showcase three different recyclable, energy-efficient insulation products which have been developed for retrofitting to existing homes or installing as part of energy-saving measures in newly-built properties.
Manufactured using igneous volcanic rock and spun to high-grade insulation rolls, boards and sandwich panels, Rockwool has zero ozone depleting and global warming potential, making it one of the greenest insulation alternatives on the market.
The products will be revealed as part of Excel London's Green Streets feature, which plans to demonstrate a variety of the new products and techniques due to be used in construction and refurbishment as the industry becomes more eco-conscious.
"We are delighted to be taking part in Grand Designs Live and to be part of the British Gas presence at this ground-breaking show," said Hans Schreuder, managing director of Rockwool.
