Family plumbers hope to descale the charts
The unusual combination of a qualified plumber and a chart singer have joined together in the hope of taking the plumbing world by storm.
Brother and sister Aaron Clarke and Natalie O'Brien now run the London South West franchise of Drain Doctor Plumbing, serving the regions of Richmond, Twickenham, Esher, Kingston and Hounslow.
As a technician, Mr Clarke already had experience with all the Drain Doctor systems and said the opportunity offered a "recession-proof" chance to operate as an independent plumber.
His sister Natalie, who had a top 30 hit in 2003 with a cover of Air Supply's All Out of Love, commented: "When Aaron said he was taking on the London SW Drain Doctor business I thought that it was a perfect opportunity to help run a family business."
Drain Doctor recently expanded its operations to the Algarve region in Portugal after appointing a local qualified plumber as its manager of operations there.
