Jobs for plumbers in sunny Portugal
One of Britain's most successful plumbing firms is seeking qualified plumbers to help it expand its operations in mainland Europe.
Drain Doctor Plumbing launched its base in Loule, Portugal in January this year and has since attracted so much interest that it needs to employ new technicians.
Jan Mitman, director of Drain Doctor, says in spite of the global recession business is booming in sunny Portugal.
"We are looking for two more qualified technicians to join the business to assist us with expansion as the level of business in Portugal increases," she comments.
The company has already been busy carrying out a number of 'no dig' repairs, clearing restaurant drains and advising customers on how they can prevent future blockages.
Once the operation is fully established in Loule, Drain Doctor has plans to start franchising elsewhere in Portugal.
A Southend-based Drain Doctor operation recently celebrated winning the Franchise of the Year award for the fourth year running, after becoming the first franchise to turn over more than £1 million each year.
