New pipes offer more resistance and durability

Plumbers will now be able to offer customers new pipes that offer greater durability and protection, following a new product development.
UK pipe manufacturer Jacob UK has launched a new set of powder-coated pipes, intended to protect both internal and external surfaces against scratches and corrosion.
The company's director John West explained that the new product represents a "major step forward" for piping technology.
He said that the new piping offers "huge benefits for pipework designers and process plant manufacturers, with a high grade long lasting finish that is resistant to corrosion and offers excellent conductivity, without the need for additional earthing straps".
Plumbers will need to replace the pipes in one house in Middlesex this week, after the dramatic rescue of a family pet, reported the Daily Mirror.
A cocker spaniel puppy was trapped in a waste pipe for four hours after being flushed down the toilet accidentally, with plumbers called in to cut the animal out of the pipes.
