Olympic construction opportunities in Russia
Plumbing opportunities could emerge in Russia in the run up to the Sochi 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
More than $10 billion (£7 billion) is set to be invested in infrastructure projects as part of the federal budget.
According to a new report, there will be a number of opportunities created for the UK construction sector.
UK Trade and Investment chief executive Sir Andrew Cahn said that UK firms can contribute to "one of the most dynamic elements within the Russian economy".
He said: "The Sochi 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games provide an unprecedented opportunity for the UK construction sector.
"The proven expertise, innovation and professionalism of British companies make them world leaders in this field."
Meanwhile, the progress of construction work at the 2012 Olympic Park in London is set to come under public scrutiny following the installation of cameras at the site.
