Qualified plumbers have come out on top in a customer satisfaction survey of small businesses in the UK.

In a poll of 25,000 people plumbers came out ahead of hairdressers, who scored 86.1 per cent and travel agents, who scored 84.1 per cent.
The UKCSI gives consumers the chance to rate service across 13 public, private and third sectors and to rate businesses for their professionalism, quality, problem-solving and punctuality.
Jo Causon, chief executive of the Institute of Customer Service, advised self-employed plumbers and tradesmen that the important of good customer relations can never be underestimated.
