TV star says "guten tag" to Newcastle plumbing expo
A Geordie actor will be appearing at this year's biggest event for qualified plumbers in Newcastle.
Tim Healy, star of Auf Weidersehen, Pet, will be joining delegates at the Plumbing and Heating Exhibition in St James' Park on May 20th and 21st.
Healy will represent newly-launched firm UK Plumbing Supplies, which stocks a range of eco-friendly and cost-reducing equipment.
UK Plumbing Supplies is the sole UK distributor for Rifeng, a manufacturer of multilayer pipe.
"I have to say that this [Rifeng] multilayer piping has got to be the most exciting, innovative and simple to use system I've ever come across," commented Mr Healy.
The Plumbing and Heating exhibition has become one of the UK industry's premier events since its launch in 1993, drawing qualified tradesmen from around the country.
This year's exhibitions will be held in Bristol, north London, Newcastle, Scotland, Manchester and south London.
