Tradesmen lucky in love , survey finds

Qualified plumbers, electricians and other tradesmen are becoming luckier in love than their high-flying city counterparts, according to a recent survey.
Dating website mysinglefriend.com has revealed that women are increasingly looking for men who have a reliable skill as the recession hits while bankers are reportedly so embarrassed about their jobs that they are omitting them from their dating profiles.
Handymen have become so popular that the website is now urging more single men in the trades to get involved.
"We're seeing more and more women on our site looking for a man with a trade," the Daily Star quoted a website spokesperson as saying.
"So much so that we're trying to recruit more tradesmen."
Also in demand are teachers, policemen, doctors and musicians, according to the site's findings.
A couple of high-profile ladies with tradesmen on their arms include actress Pamela Anderson and singer Lily Allen.
