Webcam gives a peek at Veldrome construction activity

The public have been given a first-hand look at how builders and tradesmen at the Olympic Park's Velodrome are progressing on the site after a webcam was launched.
It will show updated images of the construction activity throughout the day at the Velodrome, where over 150 workers are busy creating the 360-degree concourse level.
The webcam is the latest in a range of cameras at different venues around the Olympic Park, allowing the public the see the sites take shape for themselves.
Shaun Dawson, chief executive of Lee Valley Regional Park Authority, commented: "The VeloPark will be a fantastic resource for London and the south-east after 2012, attracting cyclists of all levels and disciplines."
The 6,000-seat Velodrome and adjacent BMX track will host the Olympic track cycling and BMX events, while it will be used as a training facility by elite athletes after the Games.
Recently, the Olympic Delivery Authority announced plans to open up the Olympic Park to a bus tour so that 4,000 people can see how builders and tradesmen are shaping the site.
